Looking for a tool to batch verify video files integrity
#1
I've got a dodgy music video file somewhere on my server that crashes Windows Explorer - I know there's a MS registry setting (or it might be a win SDK download) that creates a crash dump for anlysis - and the most common cause of this problem is a bad codec installed on the PC, but I'd rather use some sort of tool to batch scan my library and find the culprit.

Any idea where I can find such a util?

I can't believe it's taken me so long to fix this Win7 problem, but if anyone else has been faced with this then it's more than likely down to an app called DisplayLink (which I had no idea was installed on my PC, it must have come as part of some other app). There's an uninstaller available from here: http://www.displaylink.com/support/ticket.php?id=297

Apparently this problem exists in all versions of Windows.
