I have an acer revo running XBMC live and connected to my Windows Home Server via SMB. I leave both machines on all the time. However, if I don't use XBMC for a day or so and try to play a movie/tv show off the server then XBMC freezes. It pulls up the waiting icon to show that it is loading but then just stops; it doesn't pull up the video and I can't navigate anywhere. I have to restart XBMC (by powering it off) and then it works fine.

Any suggestions?

Is live installed on the hard drive? Mine used to do something similar due to bad drive. Replaced drive (no issues now).
