Stormwave Wrote:I had a look at weeb.tv. It seems like it should be pretty straightforward if I can find the source of the streams, but it may be difficult. I'm going to try decompiling the player.swf file and see if I can find out where it's getting the stream sources from.

Use Charles Web Debugging Proxy to capture the AMF request/responses. You'll also need to figure out how to use pyamf if you're looking at AMF/RTMP streams... a good example is BlueCop's Free Cable plugin. It's been a great resource in my own adventures in AMF/RTMP recently.

Thanks a lot, I'll check that out.

I found the streams for weeb.tv, but was having trouble getting the AMF/RTMP to load properly.

In the meantime, I started working on a sprword.com plugin, which is coming along nicely. I've got most of the videos to work fine in XBMC, except for the Vimeo ones (at present). Taking a break for a bit now, but I could have the sprword plugin finished later today (or tomorrow).

Great idea stormwave. If you do develop a new video plugin may I suggest you take a look at stagevu from AJ's Repo. I don't know how he's done it (I haven't looked) but he's added a feature where you can "download quietly" meaning the download will take place in the background while you can still use xbmc as normal. I've tried it on PC and even xbox platofrms and it works perfectly - it's even possible to stream other content whilst downloading or do simultaneous downloads. I'd love to see this code become the standard for video plugins. If you take a look at some of his other plugins he's also added a playlist function which will play the whole film/tv show if it's in parts.

Anyway sorry I can't think of any requests but a kids one would certainly be welcome - there doesn't seem to be much for the kids that works in UK. Good luck with it all.

It might not be video plugin, how about a PDF viewer for XBMC, it would be great way for one to read some documents, or a source code browser Tongue

Any plugin that incorporates newsgroups for downloading since newsgroups have the fastest downloads and best quality videos.
