I am trying to install nightlies following these instructions:

However at step two it just says:

dpkg: error processing xbmc-20110919-030cfbc-master-atv2.deb (--install):
cannot access archive: No such file or directory

Cannot work out what I am doing wrong.

when it says URL-FROM-STEP-ONE-HERE it means you must copy the url of the most recent nightly. Thus it would be:

It appears as though the file was not downloaded properly.

Did you have any error message returned after the wget command?
The steps in the guide are very good.
I'm suspecting the step with wget resulted in an error.

Thats precisely what I did, I clicked the link and copied the link from the 19th (and I tried the 16th as well)

so this is in terminal:

Apple-TV:~ root# dpkg -i xbmc-20110916-0c3e6a3-master-atv2.deb

However the wget thing seems to be where it has gone wrong as this is what I get:
