Looking for help looking at hardware for streaming
#1
Hi,

I currently have a Zotac box connected to an external hard drive I use in my livingroom.
I also have a PC in my bedroom running windows 7

What I would like to do is stream content from my PC straight to my HTPC.

What hardware would I need todo this? I would be streaming a few blue-ray movies but mainly SD files

Thank you

Ethernet... Well, fiber actually, but not many folks run fiber in their homes...

UTP Cable, Cat5e will do, but with Cat6 you'll be gigabit-proof.
