Interesting thought, but no I doubt if there is a clear way to do this. The visuals are prompted by the audio and take their cue from the sound beats, quite the marvellous display. There are custom 3rd party screen savers that play videos (and of course it could be in loop) not what you wanted. Perhaps a feature suggestion, if enough people want this some developer might offer a better solution.

Ideally it would chose random songs and use those to display the patterns but keep sound muted.

The reason I want such a thing is because the normal screen savers allow my Windows screen saver to activate, and then my BT remote becomes unresponsive. All the solutions to disable the Windows screen saver I've tried also disable Kodi's as well unfortunately.

All my displays are plasmas, so I do need either an all black screen or a full screen saver. I'd just like some way to keep my remote active.
