New version AmbiBox 2.1.4 released.

Hi,

For anyone interested, there is a new version of the script/addon for XBMC available (WINDOWS only). It adds some options for displaying a menu of your current AmbiBox profiles at the time a video starts playing for you to pick from or attempting to pick a profile based upon the video files reported display aspect ratio.

There is a PDF with instructions in the zip file. This is NOT simply a plug and play setup. You will still need to configure your profiles in the windows application and to use the automatic switching based on aspect ratio, you will need to edit an XML file. Details, again, are in the PDF.

Long time user of XBMC and always looking for new things to add to my HTPC. So when I came across a blog on someone using an arduino to control LED's based upon the colour of the screen decided it would be a good little project.

(some of the colours don't look perfect but thats due to iphone camera not liking being in dark and bright flashing lights)

Currently it looks at 4 different points on the screen and outputs to 4 different LED strips. Thinking about raising this up to 6 or 8.

There is a bit of a gap of LED's in the middle at the moment but haven't played around with it because need to work out best way of placing them on the back of the TV at the right angle.

I called some High power led modules(Special Wavelength) to make a 10W LED Ambient light,Feels good!
