Alaska not downloading extra art (banner/logo etc)

I'm having a problem with the latest version of alaska.
when i go into alaska settings - scripts/extras - click to download logos etc

this used to work well for me (albeit it took pretty long to scan my library)
now it doesn't even really check, just tells me no new art was downloaded and that i have 0 tv shows. (even though there should be something to grab)
could it be that something is wrong with my library?
or is it the script?
