Windows Volume Level Varies
#1
I've got my HTPC hooked up to mt TV via a HDMI cable and everytime I boot into Windows (7x64) I find that the volume level setting is not at 100% so I have to manually reset it before kicking off XBMC.

I read something moons ago when I was trying to get the HTPC set up that Windows does some funky levelling based on the output but I want it to leave well alone. Angry

Anyone know how to fix the level at 100% or an app that can run on startup to reset it??

My volume level stays at 100% all the time. Not sure what's going on. Someone hitting the volume button(s) on an MCE remote?

I've not seen this before, but it sounds like Windows is being 'helpful'. Try going through the device and audio settings, making sure there are no 'enhancements' enabled.

not seen this before either,,,
my windows volume is always at %100,,,,

make sure to install the latest audio driver for your motherboard
even tho your maybe using a GPU card....

if all that desnt work, u may be able to create a .reg file that would be applied at boot times
and would set your sound level to %100.....
