The forthcoming v11.0 Eden release of XBMC has a completely rewritten keypress handler and supports lots of extra keys. I've updated my Showkey and KeyMapEdit apps to handle the new key names, and you can find the new versions at https://sourceforge.net/projects/xbmcmce/files/.
