Writing my own LCD plugin for older IRTrans devices
#1
IRTrans does not support OEM devices such as OrigenAE anymore, I downloaded the latest available version from Origen, and I've noticed that its fairly easy to write plugins against it.

I do not find much info about reading lcd output from XBMC however, i've checked the web server doc's and cand find any info.

Can someone please enligten me how to listen to XBMS LCD output?
I'm talking about the ones that you define in lcd.xml

Ok, so it uses LCDProc, but that is a Linux only crap.. Does Windows version of XBMC even send anything to port 13666 (LCDProc port)

What about sending the same stuff on the same port as linux? I would be happy to write a plugin for LCD Smartie that spoofs LCDproc

edit: And other people can easily write plugin for LCD Hype, etc
