[LINUX] Ubuntu Natty video issue
#1
Hello everyone,
I upgraded my Ubuntu Maverick 10.10 to Natty 11.04 and started to have an issue with visualization. I am using server edition with no window manager. XBMC is starting up automatically. After the upgarde, when it starts now the video is all "broken", i.e. you can barely see the graphics: there are several rectangles and many lines. All the functionalities are fine, I can even start a video (that will be shown with the same problem). If I quit XBMC, start another app (startx google-chrome) this is working fine. If after this I start XBMC again, the video is perfect with XBMC as well! If you just quit XBMC and restart it, the video will still be blurred.
The laptop is an old IBM T40 and the video card is a radeon.
I updated XBMC to the last stable version (I had to modify the sources using maverick instead of natty to avoid the 404 file not found issue).
Any help appreciated!
Thanks,
Stefano
