What setting might I be missing to get sound from my PC via HDMI to my TV speakers?
I have a PNY Verto VCGGT2401D3XPB GeForce GT 240 1GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
Specs say it has: HDMI ON-Board support w/support for 7.1 TRUE HD audio pass-through
HDMI sound problem

Needs to be in the support area for best chance of help. I'm sure a mod will move for you.
You need to supply more details. XBMC live, windows etc etc etc etc... no info = no answers. I have just updated XBMC Live 10.1 to the latest SVN version and had no sound over HDMI. My issue was Alsamixer was muted. |

At this point I'm just wanting any sounds from live internet feed to come out of the TVs speakers? Not just XBMC. Thought maybe this might be a hardware problem

Did you select HDMI under sound properties?
