Music files crashing

Hi
I've just started having two problems
1. when I go into music and then into an album XBMC crashes.. I have tried other skins and it apperars to be ok..
2. not seeing background jpeg for movies on home screen

im using Eden pre version Back Row from your link
and XBMC version XBMCSetup-20111006-746f7b2-master.exe

any help

Hi Borg101

I've just been testing this and I don't seem to be able to reproduce these errors.

For me the album thing isn't happening in library or file mode. I suppose a debug log would be helpful if you could post one?

For your second issue around movie fanart on the homescreen (using the recently added list I'm assuming?) you only get fanart displayed if you are using multiple home wallpapers and not the default red curtains wallpaper. Is that maybe the problem?

ok found crash log hope this helps.. some more info to help you
im using music file mode not library..
it appears to crash mostly when there are alot of mp3's in one folder ie. best of the 80's with about 40 mp3's in there.. it crashes when scanning media
im using coverflow and it olny appears to happen when using coverflow tried list and list 2 they work ok

Oh no sorry I meant post the xbmc.log rather than the .dmp fiile. Just copy it to pastebin and post a link.

I wonder if it's a memory thing? - I'll see if I can reproduce it using your extra info.

Okay I've replicated it - it seems to be related to some things running in the background - TV Next Aired, Weather Plus etc.

tried the new downloads today
sorry but it hasn't fixed the fault..
just tring to think of anymore info I can give you
I have noticed that the folders do tend to have fanart jpegs in them
