As a total linux noob I installed it default from usb to hd
But menu is very slow. Not even talking about MKV decoding..

please help

specs:
Intel 945GM and ICH7M chipsets
1Gb PC2-5300
Intel T5600

Installed ubuntu 10.04 with kde and wich worked out better.
But it's dropping frames when playing mkv, so i still want the live to work?
Any help is appreciated.
