I Just bought a Zotac ND22 with a 64GB SSD and 8GB RAM for my htpc frontend.
Its running debian 6.0.2.1 with kernel 2.6.32-5-amd64.
I installed the NVIDIA Driver from NVIDIA.com version 285.05.09.
I compiled the lastet git source for XBMC version PRE 11-0 git: 20111008-10da51c with VDPAU enabaled (after installing libvdpau using apt-get).
Now when I try to play a 1080p x264 It drops alot of frames, because its not using VDPAU.. using 'o' the dc tag shows ff-h264 (no vdpau).
If I quit xbmc I see the following error:
Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
libvdpau_nvidia.so is not located in /usr/lib, however the file libvdpau.so.285.05.09 is.
I tried making a symbolic link, but then XBMC says the following error:
/usr/lib/libvdpau.so.1: undefined symbol: vdp_imp_device_create_x11
Really hope I can get this ND22 to run 1080p smoothly.. Can anyone help me?
