iplayer help needed

I have xbmc installed on ubuntu 11.04 64bit and I am trying to get the iplayer add-on to work. The add-on is installed and I can browse the iplayer programmes available, the programme starts to stream but then fails at either 50% or 80%. Sometimes I get a message to say the one or more items have failed to play.
