How to id which iOS is on my ATV2
#1
Since my ATV2 only tells me it has 4.3 (I believe it drops the last digit) how can I tell if it is 4.3.1, 4.3.2, or 4.3.3?

It should give you all three numbers if you plug it into iTunes via the micro USB cable. Can't recall fore sure, at the moment. You could also compare features http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4448

I had previously checked iTunes but didn't know where to look. When I select it in devices it just says "Name: Apple TV"

Are you sure about that? There is a sn0wbreeze for iOS 4.3.1, 4.3.2 and 4.3.3 and I need to know which one to download. The "about" screen only tells me I'm running iOS 4.3 (I read elsewhere on XBMC forums that the final digit isn't displayed).

I'm sure. Apple made it really confusing by having the iOS versions so close to the Apple TV software versions. On top of that you have the iPhone/iPod/iPad which did have the versions you mention (likely where the Sn0wbreeze versions come from, ATV2 is often an afterthought). The difference between the ATV2 and the other iOS devices is the Apple TV software runs on top of iOS (and hides iOS from the user) so Apple can update the ATV2 without touching iOS... but on the other iOS devices they always update iOS because that's the interface being presented to the user.

This table lists the iOS versions and corresponding Apple TV versions.

Oh ya, you're probably better off with Seas0npass... general consensus is it's the most reliable jb tool, so that's the one I based the jailbreak FAQ on.
