Just trying to make sure I understand the adding the No Updates function before I do all this. I understand the updates can cause issues and it already gets real old getting asked for it. But once you install the No Updates and later decide you DO want an update, can you still manually go to the settings and tell it to update? Or do you have to uninstall it?

It just stops the ATV checking for updates and crashing out of XBMC. You can still do an update later. You will need to jailbreak and reinstall everything again though
