Why am i not able to watch icefilms videos (using the icefilms plugin for xbmc) through MPChc? Movies on the hard drive play fine ...mpchc player turns on without problems, but whenever I'm trying to stream icefilms, it always plays through the internal xbmc player.
do i need to add icefilm specific rules in the playercorefactory file?

Probably. If you enable debug logging and look in the xbmc log (http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Log_File) that will tell you what is being opened and what rules are being considered.
