My atv2 setup has been running fine (Build Sep 1 2011 (Git:20110831-b7436bd) and suddenly it stopped working and keeps crashes to frontrow when I try to access xbmc.

I updated to the latest build by following the steps here and it updated to
xbmc-20111011-5a0a5b0-master-atv2.deb

My atv2 shows version 4.2.2 ( 2203)

I have updatebegone installed via nitotv.

Please advise what can be causing this?

hi mate i had a problem kinda like yours i dont have nito tv tho .. currently the tv shows aint all that best tonight. however make sure you update your icefilms to 1.0.14 i believe as originally i had 1.0.8 and that was causing crashes/ lack of sources for example id go to watch dexter and there would be no link to view.. etc etc.. possibly try getting the Repo installer and installing your addons via that as a irl friend who got me in to this says the repos can just be updated/ (forced refresh) rather than the zip file i originally used to install it all. this worked for me.

I really dont use icefilms as I download all my tvshows.

My problem is that when I try to get into xbmc from frontrow it just crashes and takes me back to frontrow. I cant even get into xbmc.

oh sorry about that then. all i use my apple tv is for icefilms. so im afraid i can only refer to that. good luck fixing it tho

Where do i find thisto delete. I use cyberduck toget to files.

Don't know which is the problem. Try MyPrograms6.db and then ViewModes.db
If it is still busted delete the other .db files and rescrape.

thank you. Had to delete all the db and not xbmc is starting again. Rescanning all my movies/tvshows now.
