Sometimes when I browse to the folder with my media files in XBMC, my iPad wlil just reboot itself. Essentially I load up XBMC, go to Video --> Files --> browse to my videos (a mixture of .avi, .mp3, and .mkv, frequently changing), and the screen goes blank, then the iPad reboots.

This happens fairly consistently when I try to load XBMC after having my iPad 2 (iOS 4.3.3 jailbroken with jailbreakme.com) on for a while, but doesn't appear to happen immediately after a reboot. This has been occurring with the nightly builds for the past several weeks (I've been updating every few days hoping it will get fixed). Once I am successfully in the video directory, it doesn't seem to have any problems. I can usually switch to another app and back to XBMC without problems. However, if I do a lot of other stuff then switch to XBMC, I believe whenever XBMC is forced to reopen (it goes back to the splash screen), the rebooting problem can occur.

For a start your database is malformed. You need to delete them and rescrape the library.

Ok, took care of that, I think. Deleted the database files and reinstalled. Same thing happened:

At least now I don't see any errors with the database.

I suspect that maybe this is an iPad issue that is conflicting with some program which will be difficult to replicate for anyone else but am hoping there is something I am overlooking. When I have more time I will experiment with running several programs that I use and see if any of them triggers this behavior.
