Hi,
I have had this issue since Eden on both my iPad and aTV. When attempting to playback or scan a share from my NAS device after a period of being idle, XBMC crashes and needs to be reloaded. I believe this is due to my NAS shutting down its drives to save power when it is not being accessed and so it takes a few seconds to spin up. While not particularly difficult for me to workaround (re-load XBMC and navigate my way back to where I left off) it is a bit confusing to others who use the system.
Is there anything I can do to extend the timeout for SMB/AFP connections?
I am now using Frodo RC3, see log below.

Thanks
Edit: I should add that this same behaviour occurs whether I am using SMB or AFP.
