hal9000mx Wrote:I have the same problem with my iPhone 4 and my iPad 1 both devices are running iOS 5.

Basically the device reboots when i enter to the xbmc and go to the directory where the movies are. I can navigate in the xbmc menus all i want, but as soon as i enter to the directory where the movies are it crash and reboots.

Both devices are jailbroken with redsn0w.

I can send you the crash logs if you tell me where to find it, because in the logs directory are none.

Thx.

It's in the FAQ: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=IOS_FAQ#logs

Just installed the nightly build and thank you davilla it works. Had 1 trashback to homescreen while trying to play a hd movie. Now trying to find out all gestures there are not mentioned in the ios wiki faq

The only gestures not currently documented are the ones for pictures, and they're pretty self explanatory. Swipe left/right while in full screen on pictures to go forward and back, and pinch to zoom.

Great stuff. Now all we need is an untethered jailbreak and I can update my aTV.

Anyone here running aTV 4.4 with XBMC? The tether shouldn't be a problem for me as I never turn off the unit. Just wondering if there are any show stoppers. I'd love to use mirroring but without xbmc it's useless.

I'm the same, in addition to dieselboy27's question, if xmbc crashes at any point back to front row would I have to perform the tethered boot or is that purely if the unit loses power?
