Another suggestion that I have is that if you have an iphone/ipod touch/ipad, I would recommend a XBMC remote control app. XBMC Constellation or XBMC Commander. The native skin for XBMC is beautiful but runs a bit slow on the ATV2. Using either app allows you to browse your collection of movies on your LAN much faster and in many ways I prefer doing it this way than using the Apple Remote and the XBMC gui. Do a search on either app and you will see MANY threads on the two apps. Each has it's strengths and weeknesses. The apps UI is dramatically differently/better on an iPad vs. iPhone due to the larger screen real estate more things are possible with regards to presentation. Take a look at this page for general set up information, troubleshooting, application overview of feature. The appendices also have alot of great information. http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=XBMC_Online_Manual. Most of the info is applicable to XBMC on all platforms including the ATV2. Lastly, the forums are really great. The forum related to IOS http://forum.xbmc.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=137 is a great place to look for ATV2 specific information. Good luck and welcome to the world of XBMC.

The last thing I would recommend is to become look into a "Library Manager". Ember Media Manager and similar tools help you get your movie library into shape so that when you scrape you collection into XBMC you will have already dealt with any false matches between the movie (say star wars: a new hope and it's meta data: poster artwork, fanart, plot description, etc)

Thread moved to iOS section, so no need to make a new one.

First thing, Update to the latest nightly build: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...htly_build

Second, read the FAQ: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=XBM...ecific_FAQ
