Hi, I am using XBMC with Aeon EQ2.
I have setup a smart playlist for kid's movies. I can add it to the home menu, and even add it to the sub menu for Movies. Is there a way to add it to the movies screen (i.e. when you actually select movies there is an option to look at titles, genre, studio etc. I want an option for kid's movies and non-kid's movies). I thought if I added it to the sub-menu for movies this would work, but no dice...

Alternatively, I would be happy if looking at movies by titles excluded kid's movies, and you only saw these when you looked at genre "family".

I have never tried this but if you check out this link and install this web interface you can manually edit the genres of your movies. Just make sure you check off 'Family' for you kid flicks and save each one. Just be certain none of the other don't have that genre enabled. At least this way you can select Family genre and control what get displayed.
