Error 2: Share Not Available

Question
Hi,
So I just jailbroke my AppleTV 2 and I installed NitroTV on it. Through NitroTV, I installed XBMC.
My goal for XBMC is to play the movie files I have in my external HDD.
I am running mac 10.7 and I enabled SMB sharing for this specific movie folder.
Now back in XBMC, I go to Videos>Library>Add Videos.. and when I browse for a media location I try to select Windows Network(SMB) but it gives me the "Error 2: Share Not Available" message.

How can I fix this?
Would "add network Location" work?

Any help would be appreciated. I jus want to play the movies off my HDD.

-thanks, Jake

You will want to post future ATV2 specific questions in the iOS support sub forum for better/faster help. I've already moved this thread there.

First thing's first. Update to the latest nightly build: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW...htly_build

Second: SMB sharing from Mac OS 10.7 no longer works with XBMC due to a change Apple made. Use AFP instead (Apple File Protocol. Another reason you'll need a nightly build as this is a new feature.

Also be sure to check out our extensive ATV2/iOS FAQ: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=XBM...ecific_FAQ
