I am contemplating ditching windows 7 and installing xbmc from the live disk. Then how do I control the media pc? I currently control it either from my phone (android) or vnc with my laptop - which I usually have running while watching tv.

My question is this, can I still do that if I install the linux/ubuntu xbmc version?

Linux didn't recognize my video card or my sound card. Going back to windows. Maybe I'll try starter edition for less memory overhead.
