Thanks for this plug in!!!

I've installed it on an Apple TV-2. After figuring out how to enter in the login/password GBTV is up and running!

WONDERFUL!!!

Thanks!

Did I mention that this Plugin works really well and I use it all the time?

Thanks again!

You're welcome! I don't know what happened to the people who made the plugin...but as long as nothing breaks, I'll keep the show categories up to day. Big Grin

Hi all,
Thanks for the GBTV plug-in, if I can get it working it would be awesome. I got the zip file from MP Technology Group, installed it, and got the listings to work. This is where the trouble begins. I can't watch any content and the system doesn't ask me for my sign in credentials (I'm a paying subscriber). The error I get in my log file is the the play back scenario can't be found. My questions are:

1. How do I enter my username and password?

2. How do I get the playback scenario to work?

I'm running Ubuntu 10-04 LTS with XBMC Dharma.
The log file:

You enter username/password info in the add-ons section of the main settings, iirc.

HTH.

I'm using the 0.0.4 version. Some of the folders/links seem to be "broken". It also seems to vary with time. If one link doesn't work, it then seems to "break" links that would have worked previously unless I restart XBMC. I can sometimes get certain videos to play, but other times they will give an error. I do have the plus membership and can access every type of video through the website. Any help?

Edit: Now after playing around with it, I can't get it to play anything at all. Even if I restart xbmc it just gives errors or says that the file couldn't play. This is true even for the regular gb tv show. Everything plays fine through a browser. I tried re-installing the plugin over top of the current one. Totally confused....

Edit: After restarting the computer (why would it matter?) it seems to be mostly working now, except for contents of a few folders (Mercury theater, Beck U, Specials) for which it gives an error when trying to play. Once getting an error, no links in any other folder will work and this requires rebooting windows. Hope this info helps someone.

Edit: Still seems to be very tempermental. I thought I had it figured out, but it seems like the plugin can crash when trying to play any type of video and it occurs randomly. Once it crashes, the computer must be rebooted to try again. No idea why....

Edit (last one): It seems like if I keep trying, I can sometimes get the script to start working again without rebooting the computer.

This plugin is broken!

I played around with the code for about 3 hours, but didn't get anywhere. I'm not a programmer, so I can only read and compare with what's in the page source on gbtv.com.

I think it has something to do with the sizes of flash files GBTV is serving up now, or perhaps something in the final version of Eden.

Guess I'm going to have to break–down and buy a Roku. ;(

I have only been having problems with the live feeds, they run for about 1 or 2 minutes then freeze. This just started happening in the past few weeks, they used to work fine when the plugin was released. Shows already archived are still working for me. Can anybody look into this please? Huh

Thanks bunches to MPtechnologygroup (et al) for this and their many efforts!

How will this accomodate the HD video 'requirements' of newly branded as Blaze TV [for Plus subscribers]:

Code:
http://www.video.theblaze.com/faq/index.jsp?content=system_requirements

http://video.theblaze.com/

I run XBMC atop Ubuntu 12.04 and another atop Mint 13 maya.
