new atv2, jb via seasonpass, installed xbmc from menu. after having "unable to connect to server" errors, i upgraded to xbmc-20111024-c5758bf-master-atv2.deb via ssh/dpkg.
"extract thumbnails and video information" is disabled.
updates are disabled.
debug is enabled.
xbmc crashes at various times, but from a user perspective it seems to be inconsistent. sometimes it crashes right when i click "videos" from the main menu. sometimes just sitting at the main menu while automatically "scanning for new content" ... this last time it was in the middle of a movie - which i then restarted and watched all the way through. whatever the problem is, it seems to be happening in the background because it seems inconsistent to the user. getting more debug logs shouldn't be an issue, as this happens plenty.
the atv2 has only 3 connections: ethernet, hdmi, and power.
