[MOD] Tube Travel Status Update

This will only be of interest to people living in London, but I've written a short script to get live Tube updates and display it in XBMC.

I've modded my version of Cirrus Extended v2 to display it:




I've got a couple more tweaks to do and then I'll release the code.

National Rail - yes, should be possible
Buses - not sure, may be possible for bus stop info - depends on how the data is provided.

I'll have a look later and let you know.

That is fantasitc bro,

As soon as its out count me in! I could have done with this last night as i picked my GF up from the station and instead of having to follow it on line i can just pop it on the screen and watch in real time!

so we can have this imformation displayed?


The bus one is just time based arrivals at a particular stop. So if i enter my home bus stop i can literally watch it live on xbmc rather than on the web!

One step at a time Pat!

That one's a bit trickier than the live departure boards. I'll get that working first and then take a look at the live train information (although my personal experience of that service has been less than satisfactory!).

I'm just getting all excited again... These features are very very useful to me indeed ..

Slight delay here I've got issues with my TV aerial so MythTV is not recording my wife's US dramas so I need to fix that first!

However, I've written a script to pull together the live train info so it's just a case of modding the skin to display it.
