Hi all,
I recently installed the latest XBMC Live (based on Lucid) and I'm having problem with TV Out on my old Radeon X300. Everything works fine until the XBMC starts X then TV goes black. When I switch back to terminal I can see the picture on TV, also when I start X manually (Fluxbox included) it works as well. It's just XBMC that for some reason doesn't work. Any ideas?
I had to update to 2.6.38 kernel because of my wireless dongle and also disable KMS as the latest drivers are not working with my Radeon (with the default 2.6.32 it works fine).
Any help appreciated.
Cheers,
Tom

Have a look at this thread
[LIVE] XBMC Live on laptop with TV It may be a case of selecting the correct output when xbmc is running. I know I also had to edit the xorg.conf on one system, and enable one output only for XBMC to display. Hope this helps. |
