looks like castalla is getting the same error messages as you.

i don't think it will be an isp problem if you can get to the files in a browser, and github is a pretty big site.

would you mind trying a fresh profile? dunno where this is stored in windows (from castalla's log i would think C:\Users\bb\AppData\Roaming\XBMC). just close xbmc, rename it to XBMC.old or something and then try turning on debug mode and adding my repo again. i'm running out of ideas otherwise.... maybe someone who knows more about the internals of xbmc would have a better idea?

edit: also is everybody having this problem using a recent nightly on windows 7? that may be something to investigate......

no i mean rename the whole folder - xbmc should create a new one and to get your settings back later just delete the new one and rename the old oneback again.

Okay. Started XBMC - installed your repo - then ustvnow and muzu. Looks like it worked!

i wouldn't have thought it has anything to do with any addons or repos but i don't know enough about how xbmc works i'm afraid. at least you have proved it is something in that folder and not the repo or github that is the problem. now you need to find someone who can track down exactly what the issue is (my only idea would be to put a copy of your old folder back then keep deleting files in it (always while xbmc is not running) until it starts working then you know the last thing you deleted is where the problem is)

maybe someone who knows more about it would be able to narrow it down for you?

Okay - I've reinstalled my other addons ... so I'll just leave it as it is now.

cool, glad you've got it sorted!

seeon has been fairly stable, it went down for about a day i think a month or so ago. there is nothing from their facebook or twitter account for a few days now though, and there is no longer any A record in their DNS only MX which seems a bit weird...

Just to chime in, I have seen this same error myself many times.. mainly since I'm always looking in my debug logs

I had one PC where it couldn't get my own repo (from github) where my appletv and laptop both could get to it without problems

Something going on in the nightlies and goes pretty far back - I can remember seeing it around June/July.. only way I could fix it was a delete of my entire profile
