lars-opdenkamp ppa oneiric

Tried getting TVHeadend for Unbuntu Oneiric from lars-opdenkamp ppa.
Got this error.

Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/lars-opdenkamp/...6/Packages 404 Not Found

Does this mean that there is not a version of TVHeadend for oneiric on this ppa?
And if so, what plans are there to add one?

Yes, there is not specific oneiric version in repositories at the moment. I supose that Odk will add it when he has time.

However I am using natty XBMC pvr repositories in oneiric and it works fine.

Are you running XBMC or TVHeadend from the natty repo?
And what commands can I use to get it to use the natty one?

I am using XBMC PVR in Oneiric, yes. Tvheadend runs in other host with Lucid.

You only have to edit the source url of the repositories and put "natty" in place of "oneiric".

You can use the package manager GUI or edit the apt source files in "/etc/apt/sources.list.d/" directory.

oneiric packages of XBMC are building now.
I'll have a look at tvheadend later this week.

Hi,

i get a similar error when trying to install xbmc from pulse eight using the provided script :

W: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/lars-opdenkamp/...ce/Sources 404 Not Found

W: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/lars-opdenkamp/...6/Packages 404 Not Found

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
Installing/upgrading XBMC-PVR and libcec
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package xbmc

Tried editing the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/lars-opdenkamp-pvr-depends-oneiric.list file and replacing oneiric with natty , but that did not help, am i editing the right file?

Doesn't natty packages work well in oneiric?

Edit: Oops, already explained above that it does.

It will probably work with the workaround provided by xbmcuser2000 but I think it will help others if there were a oneiric on the ppa also.
