I have been trying to get advancedsettings.xml to work on my appletv1

the problem, and i seem to be the only one with it. is that i do not have

/private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC

The /mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC

I even went so far as to reinstall ATVboot and XBMC all from scratch without a hitch. Still no mobile folder....

What am i missing?

One of the things you can do is on on your computer under folder options make sure hide known extensions file types in not checked..

also under folder options make sure to use show hidden files and folders this button should be checked in order to show hidden files..

I think you will find the problem is that atv1 is OSX based not IOS.
Try looking for:
/Users/<your_user_name>/Library/Application Support/XBMC/userdata

Otherwise try to Mac forum
