I am using 5.1 set up for my xbmc audio.but at night i use head phones, for that i have to change audio set up from 5.1 to 2 channels other wise centre ie voice channel is missing is there any solution to this

To be clear, are you plugging your headphones into your reciever or your computer's headphone jack? Your receiver should be able to mix down to stereo just fine.

i am using creative x fi card and z5300 logitech speakers,am plugging headphones to the headphone output to speakers control pods,headphone output. Problem is that driver settings of card to headphone does not work. I have to manually select 2 spk settings in xbmc to hear dialogs
