if he read the amd spec that i included in the link, he can make his own judgement. for what he is trying to rescue, the $25 hd5450 or the $37 GeForce GT 430 (Fermi) 1GB should be a great addition.

You might even do what I did for a case. I took an old Dell 2400 and pained it black. Actually looks good
