I have been using XBMC for many years most without any problems. Recently my server XBMC box will crash after the main movie starts from any DVD.

It can play the trailers and the menu but once you start the main movie it crashes.

I am running a:
Intel Core2 CPU [email protected]
6GB ram
Window 7 64 bit
Radeon HD 6750

It just started happening I thought it might be my video card so I bought a new one but still the same problem. I have reinstalled XBMC on several ocasions but nothing.

Very odd, it looks as if XBMC keeps trying to play "THE WIZARD OF OZ.iso", failing, then retrying again until after four failures XBMC shutd down. What happens if you play an avi or mkv video?

It was crashing with all file types. I discovered that if I removed the setting "Sync Playback to display" the problem went away.
