problem running youtube
#1
I love XBMC to the max, but I've been having some problems with youtube since installing xbmc and the youtube add-on on my new media pc.

The problem seems to happen when I play any online video from youtube or vimeo. I get an error message.

Here's my log file:

I hate to bother people, but if anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

You could try uninstalling and reinstalling the YouTube add-on. I've had the YouTube add-on break several times, though I think that's down to running development versions of XBMC rather than any fundamental flaw. Anyhow, uninstalling the add-on and reinstalling it again fixes the problem.

Thanks JR, I have tried this and installing previous versions of the youtube plugin, but still no sucess. Video files from the computer play alright, its just any online video service like youtube or vimeo doesn't seem to work. It's ery frustrating!
