First of all nice work on this skin -

Question?

See this post:
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=48191&page=12

Recommended file structure:
Comics/Spider-Man/issue #1.cbr
The comic section is disabled by default. Go to Home window options and enable the comics section and set the path to your Comics folder. Comics backgrounds can be customized in the Home window customizer.

I did this - comics look great - except when I click into the Super Hero of my choice lets say Captain America like in your example - i get all my thumbs as separate files -

What is the proper thumb nail naming convention ...

I have:

comics/Captain America/issue #1
In the same folder:
comics/Captain America/issue #1.jpg
then tried:
comics/Captain America/thumbs.jpg
then tried
comics/Captain America/folder.jpg

Thanks

Also is there a config for the scraper ... actually is there a scraper?

Many thanks-

That shortcut just uses the pictures viewer from xbmc, so there is no database what so ever. The recommended file structure is just for the nice showing of labels, so that you see issue #1 in the spider-man folder for instance, instead of a whole filename like spider-man_2008_issue_1_title.cbr.
The way to go is to save the cover image from the comic as issue#1.tbn if the filename is issue#1.cbz, but if you tried anything before that, it remembers the thumb assigned to it. Only way to fix is to rebuild textures.db or manually delete reference in textures.db or rename the file and reopen the window.

Many thanks - I got the thumbs to show up nicely for the individual comics -

One thing left, if you can help me out -

My main folders inside The comics section has folders such as:

Spiderman
Superman
etc ...

How do i get art associated to those folders?

For example I have a folder called Spiderman and Superman with comics inside (when i open the "folders" I get the nice thumbs)

I would like to also see art associated to these Hero's as I am browsing through their names ...

I tried:
(rebuilding the textures file after all changes)

1. Folder look like this: Comics\Spiderman
Comics\Spiderman.tbn

Comics\Superman
Comics\Superman.tbn

does not seem to work ...

Place a folder.jpg in the Superman folder.

Any chance this could work on Dharma with this showcase view?

It's too much work to implement on Dharma. On eden-pre I make use of some new features of the skinning engine for this functionality.
