Bad Stuttering Problem
#1
Using Pre-Eden, Nightly Build as of Monday the 7th of November.
Happens to all media types and resolutions. - MKV, AVI, SD & HD.
Media will play fine and then for sometimes as short as 3 seconds and sometimes as long as 15 seconds the video will stutter very badly and the audio will continue to play smoothly. The video may then pause half-way through the stuttering and then fast-forward to catch-up with the audio.
I have made changes to the Video Playback settings to no avail.
The problem started happening when I installed SickBeard on the Media Center, I have since removed it and the problem still exists. I do not think SickBeard caused the problem, just putting it out there.
I did not make any changes to XMBC to cause the stuttering. Pre-Eden was running fine.
I am running Windows 7 on a 100HT-BD AsRock.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you updating the library at these times? That can cause the problem.
Do you have DXVA2 enabled? If not try enabling it.

Please provide a debug log for when this happens for more help.

to know how to post your debug log refer to this thread:

Now you mention it SickBeard is probably sending library updates almost constantly. I may need to turn them off.
I'll give that a go and report back. Cheers!
