Hi I’ve a customer (a Museum) that are searching a product for show video and photo.
He has a NAS with some folder that contains videos and photos.
I’m searching a network media player that show this video but it’s very necessary that:

- All config menu are hidden;
- Ability to configure the first page (after power on) fixed on a menu that show videos in NAS;
- Ability to config a menu that show thumbnails of video (first frame of it) and a text description.

With xbmc I can solve my problem?
Is it possible to have a customization to solve these problems?

1) yes - just a dedicated skin
2) yes - you can set any startup window from a skin
3) yes, nfo files and thumb files. if you want rely on the internal thumb extraction it seeks 10% into the video iirc, that can easily be changed in code though.
