dear All,

I might have a little problem but I can't find what it is.
I have installed XBMC v10.1 on my PC under windows 7 prof. after installing is complete i want to run the program. After a few seconds the error message appears which said "CApplications::Create ()failed-check login file and that it is writable".
The only thing I can do is hit the enter key and the program stops and return to the desk.
Anybody does have a clou what the do?? thanks in advance.

This usually means you haven't installed the correct video drivers. When you install Win7, if it can't find the correct drivers for the video card it will us ea default driver, and the default driver won't allow XBMC to run.

To see if this is the case we need to look at the debug log. Open the debug log by pressing Windows-R and in the Run dialog type:

"%appdata%\xbmc\xbmc.log"

(including the quotes). Click OK and the log should open in Notepad. Copy and paste the log into http://pastebin.com/ and post the link it gives you here.
