Hey guys just had a thought about adding a place to watch xbmc. Wonder if anyone here knows the answer?
My main PC (i5) in my 'office' has a HD6950 hooked to just one monitor.
I have a spare 32" Sony LCD just collecting dust.
next to my 'office' (its an upstairs bedroom) is an open loft area. I was thinking I could put the TV on an adjoining wall and run an HDMI cable (and remote receiver) through the wall and use that TV for xbmc.

Is this doable? Thoughts, suggestions, and snide remarks please

Very doable. You Will need an rc6 receiver for the remote. If you have the $ a logitech remote is great for controlling xbmc.
I run xbmc on my pc station next to my panny tv. Pc is an i5 with amd 6850. You probably Will need to go back to ati 12.4 drivers cause all the other over That introduce lines in the GUI.

Sry for all the caps iPhone is acting up. Which make me think that you could use an iOS or android phone as a remote just grab the free app
