I'm running Openelec 1.0.2. I've set it up to use a MySQL shared library and symbolic links for thumbnails. Broadly this works fine over both XBMC boxes.
The only problem I've found it that it doesn't wake from standby elegantly. When it wakes, it shows a folder listing with .. as the only item. The smart playlists have nothing about them at all. After about 20 seconds the shows start to show up. It's functional, but annoying!
Anyone know why the shows wouldn't show up immediately after waking?
