[REQUEST] GOMtv Plugin (Starcraft 2 VoDs/Live)
#1
For those who don't know GOMtv.net, it is a site that streams e-sports (Primarily Starcraft 2 Pro Matches) Live and has Video on Demand. Personally, I always have to watch the recent GSL tournament daily and it would be great to have the site stream from my XBMC machine. It's about the only thing I'm missing from my XBMC now. Is anyone willing to work on this?

Is anyone able to help us out here?

Looking for the exact same thing. This would be so awesome! I love the Day[9] channel on XBMC and being able to watch Gomtv would just be perfect!

Hopefully someone can help us out here

Here is one I made over the weekend http://github.com/patrickgalbraith/plugi.../downloads it makes the content on m.gomtv.net available to XBMC.

Requirements
  • XBMC (tested with 10.1 "Dharma" for Windows and Linux)
  • GomTv.Net Login and Premium Season Ticket to watch more than the first game of each match.

Known Limitations
  • Can't view live streams. This is because they aren't available on m.gomtv.net
  • It can be difficult to differentiate between Code A and Code S matches. Again this is due to m.gomtv.net not providing that information.
  • Login via SNS account (Facebook or Twitter) not available.

Installation

If you have any issues please post them at http://github.com/patrickgalbraith/plugi...ile/issues

is there any reason it is only for the mobile version and not the normal gomtv?

Can't get yours to work, futurefive. It just doesn't show anything, even with me entering the correct account information.

Strange it worked when I tested it. Although you got to zoom in on the image to see it.

Hey guys,

To answer the questions the GomTV Mobile plugin should still work fine. However the m.gomtv.net site can be a bit unreliable since its still in beta so if the plugin doesn't work try checking the website.

I should have mentioned this in the first post but I use the GomTV mobile as a back up. I actually use a patched version I made of Henriks GomTV.net plugin. This plugin has HD and SNS support. I just updated this plugin to 0.0.6 to fix an issue after GOM changed the vod page.

See here to download both plugins http://github.com/patrickgalbraith/plugi.../downloads

Tried using it but it will only play the first video in a series no matter what I select.

futurefive, I really love this addon. Good work. I really like using the mobile version because it allows for seeking. I had a question, the mobile version seems to only play SD quality; is there any way to use a higher resolution of video? You planning to update the addon at all?
