I have some japanese anime in mp4 format could input into iTunes and able to play on my iPhone on the go.
But I found that XBMC was unable to display the subtitle that iPhone could.
may be they are different? apple call it Closed caption? or short for CC.
Is it possible for me to display this kind of subtitle on xbmc?
I've found that both linux and windows version was unable to display it.

I use MP4tools on mac to create mp4 from mkv. and I hope I could use XBMC on my home server (Ubuntu) and share all media through UPNP to my Xbox360 console. with soft subtitles.
so both device don't play mkv. mp4 is my only option.
