Hi,

I have been looking through the forums and I am thinking of buying a Broadcom Crystal HD (bcm970015) for my old Asus EEE Box B202. Do you have any experience with that? I don't mind running XBMC under Windows or Linux.

Hi,

just wanted to report that all worked fine. Replaced the WiFi card with the Crystal HD, installed the drivers (3.5 for Windows 7 32bit) and everything is working:

* HD via Flash
* (Full) HD in Media Player Classic



Then I booted XBMC 10.1 (live) on my eee box and here everything worked fine as well.

The only thing that sucked was replacing the card. It is not very easy to open the whole box. Anyway, I am happy now!

Even thou this post is over half a year old, id like to say thank you for this post and reporting back. Im wondering about installing the same card in my 202 eeebox pc. I was just worried that the box wouldent play full hd movies (1080) without lagging. But your post sais otherwise. Thanks again
