I don't really know how to even start debugging this problem ,so please help with suggestions.
xbmc used to work for a while after a fresh install, but now when I start xbmc, it freezes at the Logo screen, and locks up the whole OS to the end where I have to reset using the reset button (can't even open another session using CTL-ALT-F1). .xbmc/temp/xbmc.log is empty after I reboot. How do I start looking for the problem? I can't even get into xbmc to switch on debug logging. Is there some other way to do it?
I installed OS updates since the last time it work, not sure if that broke something.
I'm running Lubuntu 11.10, and installed xbmc from the following source: http://ppa.launchpad.net/nathan-renniewa...ble/ubuntu oneiric main
