Hide .py extension in script folder
#1
would it be possible to hide the .py extension in the scripts screen, like you do for the my programs screen.

i don't know maybe part of the hide media extensions settings, though i like to know what kind of picture or movie a file is (by extension), but would like to hide the .py.

a search did not turn up anything, sorry if this has been requested before.

thank you

to add to this, it would be useful if only files ending in .py were shown along with hiding the .py extension.

in the scripts screen .py files are the only ones listed.

have you tried appearance->file lists?

hi jonathan,

are you answering my answer to matt11601?

i can't find any setting or view that hides the .py extension in the scripts screen.

i just updated, this is the last change: - 19-04-2005 fixed: create thumbs in my pictures now skips files that already have thumbs.

is hiding the .py extension possible, sorry if there is a setting, i just can't find it.

thanks,
